Pavlica Steko (born January 15, 1974 in Duvno , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former professional kickboxing world champion , as well as trainer , manager and promoter.

Pavlika Steko came to Germany with his family in 1982 . In the same year he started martial arts training with his brother Mladen Steko . They have always trained together since childhood and always celebrated their successes together. First they trained Taekwon-Do until they reached the black belt. At the same time they also trained karate , judo , anti-terrorism, kickboxing , boxing and Thai boxing . During their training they were always encouraged by their father, Ivan Steko. In 1988 he opened the first Steko martial arts center in Munich . In 1997 they were able to move to a larger gym, where the brothers Pavlica and Mladen also took over the training. Since 1998 they have been successful with their students at all German and International German Championships of the WKA .
In 2004 they were the most successful martial arts school in Germany with three German Masters in Full Contact ( WAKO ). In all other years they were the most successful wrestling team of the WKA, as they provided at least one German or International German Champion every year.
Like his brother Mladen, Pavlica Steko was the German national coach of the WKA for a long time . They organized Steko's Fight Night , founded by their father in 1989 , at which he organizes world championship bouts in professional kickboxing. Like in 2011 at the WKA World Championship in Karlsruhe . These events are broadcast live by SAT 1 , Sport1 and other TV channels. They dedicated the Steko's Fight Night on December 16, 2011 to the late Besim Kabashi .

Overall, they were able to produce 58 German championship titles, 42 international German championship titles, 4 European championship titles, 5 vice European champions, 6 WKA World Cup winners and 13 amateur world champions.
