Paweł Socha
Paweł Socha CM (born January 10, 1935 in Wojslawice , Masovian Voivodeship , Poland ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Gorzów .
Life
Paweł Socha joined the Order of the Lazarists and the Archbishop of Lviv and Apostolic Administrator of Kraków , Eugeniusz Baziak , ordained him a priest on May 22, 1958 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on November 20, 1973 titular bishop of Thunigaba and auxiliary bishop in Gorzów . The Archbishop of Cracow, Karol Józef Cardinal Wojtyła , donated him episcopal ordination on December 26th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Wilhelm Pluta , Bishop of Gorzów , Jerzy Stroba , Bishop of Stettin-Cammin , Ignacy Ludwik Jeż , Bishop of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg , and Albin Małysiak CM, Auxiliary Bishop in Kraków . As a motto he chose Facere veritatem in caritate (“ To do the truth in love”).
On January 16, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI. Paweł Socha's application for resignation due to reasons of age.
