Pedro André Caseiro Portela

Pedro André Caseiro Portela (born January 6, 1990 in Leiria ) is a Portuguese handball player who is mostly used on the right wing .

The 1.86 m tall and 80 kg heavy left-hander began his professional career in 2009 with the Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon , with which he won the Portuguese championship in 2017 and 2018 and the Portuguese cup in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2009/10 he won the EHF Challenge Cup with Sporting . In this he failed in the next two years in the round of 16 and in the semi-finals . In the EHF Europa Pokal 2012/13 he was eliminated in the first round. In 2016/17 he won the EHF Challenge Cup again. In summer 2018 he joined the French first division team Tremblay-en-France Handball .

Pedro André Caseiro Portela is part of the Portuguese national team for qualifying for the 2013 and 2015 World Cup . He made his international debut on December 28, 2011 against Angola. So far he has played 80 international matches in which he scored 266 goals.
