In the EHF Challenge Cup 2011/12 , 36 handball club teams took part, which had qualified for the competition in their home countries in the previous season. It was the 12th edition of the Challenge Cup under this name. The cup games began on September 30, 2011, the second round final took place on May 28, 2012. The defending champion of the EHF Challenge Cup was the Slovenian club RK Koper . The title winner in the season was the Greek club AO Diomidis Argos .
