EHF Challenge Cup 2004/05

At the EHF Challenge Cup 2004/05 34 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home countries for the competition. It was the 5th edition of the Challenge Cup. The defending champion was the Swedish team IFK Skövde HK . The cup games began on October 8, 2004, the second final took place on May 8, 2005. In the final, the Swiss team Wacker Thun prevailed against the Portuguese representative ABC Braga .

The competition started in round 2 with a group phase that was newly introduced this year with a group of 4 teams in which everyone played against everyone in a simple round . The first two of the group moved into round 3, in which other, higher-ranking teams entered. From this round, including the final, the game was played in a knockout system with a return leg. The winner of the final was the EHF Challenge Cup winner of the 2004/05 season.
