EHF Challenge Cup 2018/19

At the EHF Challenge Cup 2018/19 48 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home countries for the competition. It was the 19th edition of the Challenge Cup. The defending champion was the Romanian team AHC Potaissa Turda. The cup games began on October 5, 2018, the second final took place on May 18, 2019. In the final, the Romanian club CSM Bucharest prevailed against the Portuguese team Madeira Andebol SAD.

The competition started with round 2 and 16 games. The winners moved into round 3, in which other higher ranked teams entered. 16 matches were played again, the winners of which made it to the round of 16. All rounds were played in a knockout system . The winner of the final was the winner of the EHF Challenge Cup in the 2018/19 season.

The first leg took place on May 12, 2019 in Madeira and the second leg on May 18, 2019 in Bucharest . With the victory of CSM Bucharest Romania overtook Germany as the most successful nation in this competition with 7 titles in the EHF Challenge Cup and Euro City Cup .
