Euro City Cup 1996/97

At the Euro-City Cup 1996/97 32 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home countries. It was the 4th edition of the City Cup. The defending champion was Drammen HK . The cup games began on October 11, 1996 and the second final game took place on April 20, 1997. In the final, TuS Nettelstedt prevailed against KIF Kolding .

mode

The competition started with a full sixteenth finals. All rounds including the final were carried out in a knockout system with a return leg. The winner of the final was the Euro City Cup winner of the 1996/97 season.
