Euro City Cup 1998/99

At the Euro-City Cup 1998/99 29 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home countries. It was the 6th edition of the City Cup. The defending champion was TuS Nettelstedt . The cup games began on October 1, 1998 and the second final game took place on April 18, 1999. In the final SG Flensburg-Handewitt was able to prevail against BM Ciudad Real .

mode

The competition started with 13 games in the round of 32. The winners advanced to the round of 16, in which other, higher-ranking teams entered. All rounds including the final were carried out in a knockout system with a return leg. The winner of the final was the Euro City Cup winner of the 1998/99 season.
