EHF Challenge Cup 2002/03

At the EHF Challenge Cup 2002/03 42 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home countries for the competition. It was the 3rd edition of the Challenge Cup. The cup games began on October 4, 2002, the second final took place on May 3, 2003. In the final Skjern Håndbold from Denmark was able to defend his title against AS Filippos Verias from Greece.

The competition started with 10 games in round 2. The winners moved into round 3, in which other, higher-ranking teams entered. All rounds including the final were carried out in a knockout system with a return leg. The winner of the final was the EHF Challenge Cup winner of the 2002/03 season.

The first leg took place on April 26, 2003 in Veria and the second leg on May 3, 2003 in Herning . After winning the first Danish European Cup the year before, Skjern managed to defend their title.
