Euro City Cup 1997/98

In the 1997/98 Euro City Cup , 28 handball club teams that had qualified in their home countries in the previous season took part. It was the 5th edition of the City Cup. The cup games began on October 3, 1997 and the second final took place on April 25, 1998. In the final TuS Nettelstedt was able to defend its title against IFK Skövde HK .

mode

The competition started with 12 games in the round of 32. The winners advanced to the round of 16, in which other, higher-ranking teams entered. All rounds including the final were carried out in a knockout system with a return leg. The winner of the final was the Euro City Cup winner of the 1997/98 season.
