EHF Challenge Cup 2015/16

At the EHF Challenge Cup 2015/16 42 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home countries for the competition. It was the 16th edition of the Challenge Cup. The defending champion was the Romanian team HC Odorheiu Secuiesc . The cup games began on October 10, 2015, the second final took place on May 21, 2016. In the final with two Portuguese teams, ABC Braga was able to prevail against Benfica Lisbon .

The competition started with round 2 with 10 games. In the next round of 16 games, other, higher-rated teams got on. All rounds were played in a knockout system . The winner of the final was the winner of the EHF Challenge Cup in the 2015/16 season.

The first leg took place on May 14, 2016 in Lisbon and the second leg on May 21, 2016 in Braga . In the fourth participation in a European final, including the year before in this competition and in the premiere season of the EHF Champions League , ABC Braga was able to win its first title.
