Pedro Filipak

Pedro Filipak (born December 26, 1920 in Catanduvas , Paraná , Brazil , † August 10, 1991 ) was a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Jacarezinho .

Life

Pedro Filipak received on 22 December 1945, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

Pope John XXIII appointed him on February 8, 1962 Bishop of Jacarezinho . The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil, Archbishop Armando Lombardi , donated him episcopal ordination on May 13 of the same year . Co- consecrators were his predecessor Geraldo de Proença Sigaud SVD , Archbishop of Diamantina , and Ignácio Krause CM , Bishop of the Diocese of Xingtai .

He participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council as a council father.
