Clifford Eugene Koroll (* 1. October 1946 in Canora , Saskatchewan ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player and - coaches , who during his playing career from 1965 to 1980 among other 899 games for the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League in position of the right winger has denied. Career

Koroll spent his junior years between 1965 and 1968 at the University of Denver , where he played parallel to his studies for the university's ice hockey team in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association , a division in the game operations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association . One of his team members was Keith Magnuson , with whom he was close friends until his accidental death in October 2003. In his three years at the university, the native Canadian completed 91 games and achieved 108 points scorer . He also won two divisional championships with the team and was also nominated for the Second All-Star Team in 1968.

The striker spent his first year as a professional in the 1968/69 season with the Dallas Black Hawks in the Central Hockey League , from where he joined the team of the Chicago Black Hawks from National Hockey the following season - together with Magnuson League made it. Koroll replaced the retired in the pre-season Kenny Wharram on the right wing position on the side of Stan Mikita and Dennis Hull . These seven years were only interrupted by a brief interlude as head coach of the Milwaukee Admirals from the International Hockey League in the 1984/85 season , where he was replaced by Jim Pappin during the season due to unsuccessfulness . As a result of his coaching activity, Koroll and Magnuson were responsible for setting up an alumni department in the Chicago Blackhawks franchise, of which Koroll is the president. Between 2006 and 2015 he was inducted into the hockey hall of fame of his alma mater at the University of Denver and the state of Illinois and the sports hall of fame in his home province of Saskatchewan .
