Pedro de Palol
Pedro de Palol (born January 25, 1922 in Girona , † December 4, 2006 in Barcelona ) was a Spanish archaeologist .
De Palol studied at the University of Barcelona and did his PhD in Madrid. In 1956 he became a professor at the University of Valladolid and in 1970 in Barcelona. Three of his books have been translated into German: Early Christian Art in Spain , The Goths. History and Art in Western Europe and Spain. Art of the early Middle Ages from the Visigoth Empire to the end of the Romanesque period .
