Pelle van Amersfoort (born April 1, 1996 in Heemskerk ) is a Dutch football player . He plays for SC Heerenveen and is a young Dutch national player.
Career
society
Van Amersfoort started playing football at HFC Haarlem . Via ADO '20 Heemskerk he switched to the junior academy of SC Heerenveen and made his debut for the professional team in the Eredivisie in September 2014. In the 2014/15 season he made ten appearances for the professionals in the Eredivisie and one use in the KNVB Cup and otherwise played for the reserve team.
In August 2015, van Amersfoort switched to second division club Almere City FC on loan and scored his first goals in professional football on October 2, 2015 in a 4-0 win on matchday nine against FC Emmen with goals to make it 1-0 and 3-0. This season he came to a use for the reserve team, a use for the professional team in the KNVB Cup and 31 appearances in the second division, in which he scored eight goals. At the end of the season he qualified with Almere City for the play-offs for promotion, but was eliminated against Willem II Tilburg .
For the 2016/17 season , van Amersfoort returned to SC Heerenveen and has since played regularly in the Eredivisie.
National team
Pelle van Amersfoort played four times for the Dutch U-17 national team and played at least one game for the U-18s . He took part with the U-19 national team in the 2015 U-19 European Football Championship in Greece . He came to three missions and retired with his team after the group stage. He played a total of 13 games for the U-19s, in which he scored six goals. Thereupon van Amersfoort completed nine missions for the Dutch U-20 selection. On March 24, 2017, he made his debut for the Dutch U-21s in a four-nation tournament in Spain against Finland .
