Chidera "Chiddi" Ejuke (born January 2, 1998 in Zaria ) is a Nigerian soccer player who has been under contract with the Russian first division club CSKA Moscow since August 2020 . The winger is a former Nigerian U- international.
Career
society
Ejuke began his career in his Nigerian homeland at Supreme Court FC and came to Norway through Gombe United in March 2017 , where he signed a three-year contract with first division club Vålerenga Oslo . He made his debut on April 30 (6th matchday) in the 1: 2 away defeat against Odds BK , when he came on in the 77th minute for Bård Finne . After he was only used sporadically in the first team in the first two thirds of the season, he penetrated the starting lineup of head coach Ronny Deila in mid-August . On September 24 (23rd matchday), he met Vålerenga for the first time in a 2-1 home win against Brann Bergen . He scored four goals in 16 league games in 2017 . In the following season, 2018 , he collected six goals (three goals and three assists) in 29 league appearances. In the following season, 2019 , he met six times in 14 league games until his move.
On July 15, 2019, Ejukes was announced to have moved to the honorary division SC Heerenveen for a transfer fee of two million euros, where the winger signed a four-year contract. There he made his debut on August 4th (1st matchday) with a debut goal after being substituted in in the 4-0 away win against Heracles Almelo . In the Superfriezen , he quickly established himself as a regular on the left wing. In this 2019/20 season he scored nine goals and four assists in 25 league games.
On August 28, 2020, the Russian first division club CSKA Moscow signed Ejuke and provided him with a four-year contract.
