Nikola Vlašić (born October 4, 1997 in Split ) is a Croatian football player . The attacking midfielder is under contract with PFK CSKA Moscow and is a senior international . His older sister is the athlete Blanka Vlašić (* 1983).

Career

Vlašić started at NK Omladinac Vranjic in 2006 and moved to the youth department of HNK Hajduk Split in 2009 . For the 2014/15 season he moved up to the first team.

On July 20, 2014 Vlašić made his debut in the 1-1 draw against NK Istra in 1961 at the age of 16 in the 1st HNL . He scored his first goal on November 2, 2014 for the 3-0 final against NK Zadar . In his first season he came to 27 missions and three goals. On August 31, 2017, the English first division club Everton confirmed the transfer of the player and the conclusion of a five-year contract.

The 2018/19 season Vlašić played on loan at PFK CSKA Moscow in the Premjer League . He plays with the club in the Champions League and scored once in the first two group matches against Viktoria Pilsen (2-2) and Real Madrid (1-0). At the end of the season he was firmly committed.

National team

Vlašić went through from the U16 to all youth national teams of the Croatian Football Association . On September 3, 2014, he made his debut in the 1-0 win against Georgia in the U21 team and was used for them a total of 19 times. On May 27, 2017, he played for the senior national team for the first time in the 2-1 test match success against Mexico .
