Jaka Bijol (born February 5, 1999 in Vuzenica ) is a Slovenian soccer player who has been under contract with the Russian first division club CSKA Moscow since August 2018 . The midfielder has been a Slovenian national player since October .
Career
society
Bijol played in the youth of NK Dravograd and NK Bravo before joining the first division club NK Rudar Velenje in the summer of 2017 . On July 16 (1st matchday) he made his debut in the 2-1 home win against NK Domžale in the first team. He quickly established himself as a regular in the central midfield . On March 17 (24th matchday) he scored his first goal in a 2-1 home win against NK Celje . In this 2017/18 season , he was used in 30 league games in which he scored three times.
On June 22, 2018, Bijol moved to the Russian first division club CSKA Moscow , where he signed a five-year contract. His first game in the Russian top division he played on July 31 (1st matchday) when he was substituted on for Chetag Muratowitsch Chossonow in the 0-0 draw against Krylja Sowetow Samara in the second half . In this 2018/19 season he was used as a rotation player. On March 9, 2019 (19th matchday), he scored in a 3-0 home win against Rubin Kazan shortly after being substituted in at the end of the game. In the rest of the season he scored three more goals and was used in a total of 23 league games.
In the 2019/20 season , he was initially used as a substitute in almost all league games.
National team
Bijol played in various Slovenian junior selections before making his debut in the A-selection on October 13, 2018 in the 0-1 away defeat against Norway in qualifying for the European Championship 2021 .
