The pennale fraternity Chattia Friedberg zu Hamburg is an optional student association in Hamburg and a member of the general Pennäler Ring. According to the authorities for the protection of the constitution, the organization with around 60 members is right - wing extremist .

history

The association was founded on November 9, 1989 in Friedberg , Hesse , and in 1992 the federal headquarters were moved to Hamburg.

In 2005 the association recruited members in the party newspaper of the NPD , the German Voice . In this context, the Hamburg Interior Authority certified her "ideological proximity to the NPD". The aim of the connection was to "bring neo-Nazis to the University of Hamburg". André Busch, an old man of the connection, published the book Blood witnesses - Contributions to the practice of political struggle in the Weimar Republic in the NPD-affiliated Nordland-Verlag in 2008 . He presented it several times at events by German neo-Nazis , which the Hamburg Office for the Protection of the Constitution called “further clues for connections between the PB! Chattia and right-wing extremism ”.
