Perschenegg is a village with scattered houses in the market town of Pyhra in the federal state of Lower Austria with 190 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020).

The place is located in the Vienna Woods on the upper reaches of the Perschling at an altitude of 378 m above sea level. A.
history
In 1836 Perschenegg was a group of 47 houses in which 161 men, 166 women and 35 school-age children lived. The 1869 census revealed 330 inhabitants in 52 houses for Perschenegg. In 2001 there were 215 people living in Perschenegg.
The chamber singer Peter Minich grew up in Perschenegg and spent his free time here.
