Petar Michow ( Bulgarian Петър Михов ; born January 25, 1992 ) is a Bulgarian ice hockey player who has been playing in the Bulgarian ice hockey league for HK CSKA Sofia since 2007 .

Career

Petar Michow began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of HK Levski Sofia . In 2007 he moved to local competitor HK CSKA Sofia , for whom he has since played in the Bulgarian ice hockey league. With ZSKA, he won the championship and national cup double in 2013 and 2014 . In 2015 he was champion with CSKA for the third time in a row.

International

In the junior area Michow played for the first time three days after his 15th birthday in the qualification for the division of the U18 World Cup 2007 , which the Bulgarians lost 2: 3 after penalty shootout against Turkey, for Bulgaria. He then took part in Division III of the U18 World Championships in 2008 and 2009 and the U20 World Championships in 2008 , 2010 , 2011 , when he led his team onto the ice as team captain, and in 2012 .

With the Bulgarian men's national team , Michow first took part in the World Cup in Division III in 2014 , when the team from the Balkans was promoted to Division II. He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
