Peter Böhm (politician)

Peter Böhm (born July 25, 1943 in Vienna ; † December 29, 2012 in Spitz , Lower Austria ) was an Austrian legal scholar and politician ( FPÖ ).

Life

After visiting the elementary school and the high school Peter Boehm completed a Grammar school in Vienna, in which he in 1961 graduated . He then studied at the University of Vienna Law and put in 1965 his doctorate from. Then he completed his military service , from 1969 he was lieutenant in the reserve . After a year of legal practice, in 1967 he found a job as a university assistant at the juridical faculty of the University of Vienna. In 1982 he became an associate professor and in 1992 a full professor. In November 1996, Peter Böhm became a free member of the Federal Council . He was a member of this group for nine years until November 2005. From 1999 to 2002 he served as chairman of the parliamentary group in his party.
