Peter Grosz (born January 11, 1974 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor and screenwriter .
life and career
Peter Grosz was born in New York City. He is a graduate of Northwestern University , where he studied with Seth Meyers . One of his earliest jobs was scriptwriting for The Colbert Report from 2007 to 2010, and he also made a few appearances in it. On March 9, 2009, he announced the birth of his child during the show.
Other work as a screenwriter includes shows such as Late Night with Seth Meyers , for which he was active from 2014 to 2015, and The President Show , for which he wrote screenplays in 2017 and also frequently appeared himself.
He took his first acting role in 1998 in an episode of JTS Brown . Since then, appearances in smaller film and series roles have followed. He was seen in the 2005 film The Weather Man . Other appearances followed, for example in Weird Than Fiction , Top Job Showdown in the Supermarket , How to be Sexy or Girls' Night Out . Grosz can be seen much more often on television, for example in Lass es, Larry! , Key & Peele , Inside Amy Schumer , Deadbeat , Vinyl or Odd Mom Out , guest roles. In addition, Grosz was also seen in a few supporting roles. From 2012 to 2019 he was seen in the role of lobbyist Sidney Purcell in the HBO series Veep - The Vice President at irregular intervals . From 2015 to 2016 he worked on the series Cop Show .
Among other things, Peter Grosz is a two-time Emmy Prize winner.
