Peter Heinzer

Peter Heinzer (born March 20, 1945 in Stein am Rhein , Canton Schaffhausen ; † November 1, 2015 in Hemmental ) was a Swiss graphic artist and painter .

Life

Peter Heinzer attended the Zurich School of Applied Arts and completed an apprenticeship in graphic design in Schaffhausen . From 1972 he was a freelance illustrator . He was best known as the draftsman of the comic figure " Globi " and as the inventor of his stories - a task he held from 1980 to 2003. In total he was responsible for 20 volumes. He passed the drawings on to Guido Strebel, the director of Globi-Verlag, who wrote the verses for them. According to Strebel, Heinzer saved Globi-Verlag with it. He was also a draftsman for four volumes of the comic strip “ Papa Moll ”.

In 1996 Heinzer moved to Hemmental with his wife. There he turned completely to painting and created landscapes . In 2010 he presented the oil paintings in his special exhibition “Auf den Randen ” in the Schleitheimertal Museum.
