Peter Krafft

Peter Krafft (born March 1, 1938 in Heilbronn ) is a German classical philologist .

Life

Peter Krafft studied at the University of Bonn , where he received his doctorate in 1964 and his habilitation in 1973 . In 1978 he was appointed adjunct professor. In the same year he followed a call to the Catholic University of Eichstätt , where he was the first professor of classical philology. In 2003 he retired .

Since his studies, Krafft has dealt with late antique rhetoric and biography . He wrote in-depth studies on Arnobius the Elder and Lucius Annaeus Cornutus .
