Peter Kraml

Peter Kraml (* 1947 in Wels ; † December 11, 2017 ) was an Austrian painter , art educator , cultural journalist and publicist and exhibition organizer .

Live and act

Kraml studied at the Linz Art Academy in the master class for painting with Herbert Dimmel and Alfons Ortner . From 1973 until his death he was a member of the artists' association MAERZ . From 1997 to 1998 he was art curator for the city of Linz. He was a long-time employee of ORF Radio Upper Austria .

Peter Kraml was married to Renate Plöchl , a Germanist and director of the Upper Austrian State Library .
