Peter Kwong is an American actor of Chinese descent.

biography

Even as a child, Kwong showed a talent for sport, mostly causing a stir as a judo student. Later he was trained in Kung Fu , where he was also considered one of the best fighters in the class. After years of training in Chinese martial arts, he completed his training as an actor in the mid-1970s. At first he only appeared now and then as a supporting actor in a few kung fu films, which became very popular especially in the 1970s through Bruce Lee . He gained greater fame through his numerous guest appearances in television series, in which he usually took on the role of the silent kung fu fighter.

In addition to martial arts films , he also starred in William Shakespeare plays. Kwong also starred alongside Jon Bon Jovi and Bai Ling in the drama Row Your Boat , which flopped at the box office. According to his own statements, he practices Tai Chi several times a day , from which, in addition to meditation, he draws strength and endurance. Kwong is also a member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
