Peter Lechelt
Peter Lechelt (born July 26, 1955 in Hanover ) is a German sculptor .
Life
After attending school, Peter Lechelt trained as a stonemason from 1972 and created his first handicrafts by 1978 . During these years he founded the “Ricklinger Werkhaus”, which refers to the Hanoverian district of Ricklingen .
From 1979 Lechelt attended the local college for fine arts in Braunschweig and after 8 semesters received further training as a master class student . After visiting the Künstlerhof in Groß Hegesdorf he founded the Noa Noa art school there .
In 1984 Peter Lechelt organized the "Malhauer Symposion" at Waterlooplatz in Hanover.
Barsinghausen's temporary "city sculptor" was also able to set up his "favorite figure" as art in public space : Papagena from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera The Magic Flute .
After Lechelt had built the sculpture park The Garden of Beloved Stones in Rinteln for almost 10 years, in 2009 he ran a workshop in the " Landgrave House " in the spa gardens of Bad Nenndorf , to which he had moved numerous figures and sculptures from Rinteln.

- 1992–1994: Numerous sculptures in Barsinghausen's public space; "Monastery sculpture"
- 1994: "Direktkunstaktion" in Hannover-Linden : "Wegweiser des Friedens"
- 1993–1997: Seven large-format sculptures in the Schaumburger Land
- 1998: "Steinzeichen"
- 1998–2002: Construction of the sculpture park The Garden of Beloved Stones in Schaumburg on the Paschenburg
- 2002, with Joy Lohmann (artistic director): “Himmelsleiter -Lebensstufenturm” in the Kröpcke-Uhr , Hanover
