Peter Anton Orlovsky (born July 8, 1933 in New York , † May 30, 2010 in Williston , Vermont ) was an American poet and actor .
Life
Peter Orlovsky was Allen Ginsberg's long-time partner . He attended Columbia University . After meeting Ginsberg in 1954, he began writing in 1957 while the couple lived in Paris. In 2010 Peter Orlovsky died of cancer.
