Peter Pfeiffer (lawyer)

Peter Pfeiffer (born May 13, 1922 in Munich ; † March 7, 2003 ) was a German lawyer, board member of Bayerische Vereinsbank and party functionary ( CSU ).

Life

From 1946 Peter Pfeiffer studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , where he passed the first state examination in law in 1948 and also received his doctorate with a thesis on The Executive Council of the United Economic Area . After completing his legal preparatory service , he passed the second state examination in Munich in 1950 .

From 1949 to 1951 he was deputy chairman of the Bavarian regional association of the Junge Union and from 1950 to 1952 a member of the CSU regional executive committee.

In 1951 he began his service at the Bayerische Vereinsbank. On April 1, 1962, he became a deputy member of the bank's board of directors and on July 1, 1966, he became a full board member. He remained in this position until he retired in 1987. Until 1994 he was a member of the advisory board of the Vereinsbank.

Pfeiffer became a member of the Association of Friends of the Technical University of Munich in 1962 , was a member of the board of directors there from 1964 and took over the business as treasurer from Ludwig Mellinger in 1970 . Among other things, he was a member of the supervisory boards of MBB and Deutsche Airbus .

He lived in Krailling .
