Peter Wittrich

Peter Wittrich (born November 28, 1959 in Freising ) is a German composer and university professor .

Life

Wittrich studied school music and composition at the University of Music and Theater in Munich with Dieter Acker, among others . After his diploma in composition and the 2nd state examination with distinction in 1987, he completed the master class in composition.

Wittrich has been a full-time lecturer since 1989, and since 2004 Professor of Music Theory at the Munich University of Music.

In 2007 Wittrich commissioned Audi AG to compose the four-movement work AUDIophonie for the AUDI Wind Philharmonic.
