Peter von Kummant (born May 22, 1943 ) is a former German soccer player . He was active as a striker and midfielder at 1. FC Nürnberg and FC Wacker Munich . At the “Club” he played four Bundesliga games in the debut season of the Bundesliga , 1963/64.

Career

On June 3, 1962, von Kummant stormed in a 3-1 home win against TSG Ulm 1846 at the side of Tasso Wild on the left wing in the competition for the South German Cup for the first time in a competitive game in the league team of 1. FC Nürnberg. His team was thus qualified for the DFB Cup , which the "Club" won on August 29, 1962 in Hanover with a 2-1 after extra time against Fortuna Düsseldorf. After relegation to the regional league, the man from Nuremberg continued to play for FC Wacker.

In the 1967/68 season, when FC Wacker was runner-up in the Bayernliga , von Kummant and his teammates competed for the German amateur championship under coach Karl Mai after successes against SC Staaken and SSV Reutlingen Am. and Hammer SV 01/04 in the final. On June 9, 1968, Munich lost the final in Bochum after extra time with 3: 5 goals. The former Bundesliga player of 1. FC Nürnberg scored two goals.
