Petr Škarabela (born November 24, 1967 in Frýdek-Místek ) is a former Czech football player and current coach.
career
Škarabela moved to Germany for SSV Ulm 1846 in 1993 . With the club he reached the qualification for the newly created regional league in 1994 . In 1994 and 1995 he was able to celebrate winning the WFV Cup with the club . In 1995 he moved to Fotbal Třinec in the second Czech division for a year before returning to Ulm .
In 1997, Škarabela went to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 2nd Bundesliga . With the club he finished fifth three times. On August 17, 2001, he played his last competitive game against SSV Reutlingen and was injured for a long time.
In the winter break of the 2002/03 season, Škarabela moved to SV Gutenstetten in the district league. From the summer of 2003 he worked as a player-coach at the national league club TSV Neustadt / Aisch. In August 2005, Škarabela tore his Achilles tendon in the game against SpVgg Weiden when he got stuck in the grass. In spring 2006 he was released. Then he trained the U-19 juniors of the FSV Erlangen-Bruck . In the 2007/2008 season he was the coach of the district upper division club SG Quelle Fürth . After he was promoted to the national league center with the team, he moved to FC Amberg.
From 2008 to 2010, Škarabela coached FC Amberg in the Landesliga Mitte Bayern, where he took 9th and 10th place with the team, and in September 2010 he was again a coach at TSV Neustadt / Aisch. On July 1, 2012, Škarabela took over as coach at FC Eintracht Bamberg . In March 2013 he was released by the Bambergers. He has been coaching TSV Abtswind since the 2016/17 season.

Škarabela holds a degree in business administration. With his former teammate Mirko Reichel , he runs a soccer school in Neustadt an der Aisch .
