Petr Pižanowski (born April 13, 1974 in Olomouc ) is a Czech football player in the position of goalkeeper .

Career

Petr Pižanowski began playing football at SK Chválkovice , when he was twelve he moved to Sigma Olomouc . He had also successfully played handball up to the seventh grade . In the 1993/94 season he did his military service at SKP Znojmo and then returned to Olomouc.

He came in the 1994/95 season on two missions, in the following game year he was not used because Martin Vaniak was the undisputed number one. In 1996/97 he ousted Vaniak after the winter break, but had to give way to newcomer Jindřich Skácel in the summer , only to take the place in goal again in the second half of the season. In 1998/99 he led a duel with Skácel and, like his competitor, came to a total of 16 games.

In the 1999/2000 season Pižanowski was loaned to FK Jablonec 97 . In the preliminary round he was number one, but in the spring of 2000 he was on the bench. He then moved to FK Viktoria Žižkov . In Prague , Pižanowski was the regular goalkeeper for the first time in his career, he played a total of 119 first division games for Viktoria Žižkov.

He did not extend his expiring contract and instead switched to the Greek first division club Skoda Xanthi in early 2005 . There he was a pillar of the team for one and a half seasons before he was ousted by Polish goalkeeper Arkadiusz Malarz in autumn 2006 . At the end of January 2007, Skoda Xanthi also signed the Austrian Michael Gspurning , which further weakened Pižanowski's position.

Then Pižanowski returned to the Czech Republic and ran in the spring of 2007 for the fourth division Viktorie Jirny. In June 2007 he signed a contract for one and a half years with FK Mladá Boleslav . In July 2009, the goalkeeper moved to FK Bohemians Prague .
