Petra Vorderwinkler

Petra Vorderwinkler (born January 21, 1973 in Neunkirchen , Lower Austria or Wiesmath ) is an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). She has been a member of the National Council since October 23, 2019 .

Life

Petra front Winkler visited after the elementary and secondary school in Wiesmath the BORG Wiener Neustadt , where in 1991 graduated . She then graduated from the University of Education in Baden . From 1997 she worked as a primary school teacher, in 2016 she became director of the primary school in Fischamend . From 2011 to 2016 she was the staff representative of the Social Democratic Union (FSG) group and a member of the teachers' service committee in the Wiener Neustadt district. Vorderwinkler is the mother of a son.

Since the municipal council election in 2015 , she has been a member of the municipal council in Hochwolkersdorf , where she also acts as the SPÖ local party leader. Since 2018 she has been deputy district party leader of the SPÖ in the Wiener Neustadt-Land district . She is also a member of the state party executive of the SPÖ Lower Austria .

In the 2019 National Council election, she ran for the SPÖ as a top candidate in the Lower Austria South regional constituency and fourth in the Lower Austria constituency . After the SPÖ lost its basic mandate in the Lower Austria South regional constituency , it moved into the National Council via the state list and was appointed on October 23, 2019 at the beginning of the XXVII. Legislative period as a member of the Austrian National Council . In the SPÖ parliamentary club , she acts as the area spokesperson for tourism and South Tyrol in the 27th legislative period.
