Petter Bjällö

Petter Bjällö (born April 17, 1975 in Viken near Helsingborg , Sweden ) is a Swedish musical performer in German-speaking countries.

Life

Bjällö completed a musical education at the Gothenburg Ballet Academy from 1995 to 1999 , from which he graduated. He took his first roles in Sweden, where he played in Hair , Annie , Zach in A Chorus Line and Roger in Grease .

Then he went on tour with From Broadway to Duvemala . In Germany he was part of the world premiere of The Hunchback of Notre Dame in Berlin as Antoine . As Count Károlyi , he was on stage in Essen in 2002/2003 alongside the Swedish actor Jesper Tydén in the musical Elisabeth . He stayed there to appear in Aida as Zoser and Radames from 2003 to 2005 . In 2005 he sang Sir Lionel in the musical Camelot together with Jana Werner at the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg . He also gave a concert evening with musical melodies by Cole Porter together with his then partner, the musical actor Claus Dam . He also played with Dam in Essen in Elisabeth and appeared in other joint evening programs. At the Aalto Theater in Essen he played the roles of Bill Calhoun / Lucentio in Cole Porter's musical Kiss me Kate in 2005/2006 . He also took part in the casting show Musical Showstar 2008 . In 2010 he was seen in Wicked - The Witches of Oz in Stuttgart and Oberhausen . In 2016 he was on a musical highlights tour through Germany. In 2018 a new album Jul with traditional and new Christmas carols came out.
