The vehicles of the Palatinate type G 2.II were locomotives of the Palatinate Railways .

A total of 22 C-coupled freight locomotives were purchased by the Pfalzbahn between 1884 and 1892. They had features of the Bavarian C IV series and a Prussian C-coupled machine. Two of the vehicles were sold to the Saarland railways and one went to France as a reparation payment .

The vehicles were equipped with type 3 T 9.8 tenders .
