List of locomotive and multiple unit series of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (1920–1945)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The locomotive series of the Deutsche Reichsbahn recorded in the list of locomotive and multiple unit series (1920-1945) are arranged according to the series scheme developed in the 1920s .

The Deutsche Bundesbahn and the Deutsche Reichsbahn from 1945 later classified other newly built types in the numbering plan, and classified many vehicles differently after modifications. The lists of the DB and the DR contain these types.

Especially in the area of locomotives taken over from private railways, this list does not necessarily represent a complete picture of all series.

Series that were included in the provisional tracing plan from 1923 but were no longer included in the final one from 1925 are put in brackets. Otherwise the re-drawing plan from 1925 is decisive.
