The DB Museum Halle (Saale) is a branch of the Nuremberg Transport Museum in the city of Halle (Saale) .
Museum buildings
The vehicles on display are in the roundhouse IV of the former railway depot housed P Hall. Today's roundhouse was built from 1895 and initially had nine stands (today stand 9-17). New and at the same time larger locomotives soon made it necessary to expand the shed. In 1908 eight stands (today stand 1–8) with longer tracks and work pits as well as a central smoke evacuation system with two chimneys were added. Today's turntable was built by the Windhoff machine factory in 1929 and reconstructed in 1987. The bridge is 23 meters long.
