The Bavarian Pt 2/4 N was a type of steam locomotive of the Royal Bavarian State Railways .

description

For comparison purposes, it was developed in parallel to the Bavarian Pt 2/3 . Instead of the fixed running axle, the locomotive was given a bogie . This change did not bring any advantages, so the decision was made to build the cheaper Pt 2/3. The two vehicles were taken over by the Reichsbahn , but retired in 1928.
