The Pfaffstättner Kogel ( 541  m above sea level ) is a summit of the Anninger mountain on the Thermenlinie in Lower Austria .

description

The Pfaffstättner Kogel is the local mountain of Pfaffstätten and an extension of the Anningers. The Rudolf-Proksch-Hütte and the Klesheimwarte are located on its summit . On its southern slope is the Einödhöhle , a young tertiary surf cave .

geology

The Pfaffstättner Kogel consists mainly of carbonate rock from the Middle Triassic - Lower Cretaceous . The southern slope and the summit also consist of main dolomite .
