Rectory in Dorschhausen

The rectory in Dorschhausen , a district of the city of Bad Wörishofen in the Unterallgäu district in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia , is a listed building at Schwabenstrasse 35. To the southeast of the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary , the pastor Joh. Ulrich Hackl built the rectory in 1754 .

Building description

The two-story house consists of five to five axes and is equipped with a gable roof covered. A profiled eaves cornice runs along the long sides . On the western side of the eaves, a rectangular door leads into the building along the wider central axis. The windows on the ground floor are arched, a mirror ceiling is attached in the hallway inside. Inside on the east side, a two-flight staircase leads to the upper floor of the building. This has new wooden steps and coves with frame stucco on the underside of the runs. On the upper floor, it opens into the corridor with two arcades , which runs through the length of the rectory in the middle. As on the ground floor, the hallway on the upper floor also has a mirrored ceiling in the middle of which an oval cove lined with profiles with a stucco coat of arms, presumably of the Mindelheim rule , is attached. The rooms on the upper floor contain mirror ceilings with a profile-lined haunch.

Interior

Two mounted crucifixes from the middle of the 18th century are in the rectory, as is a painted board figure of a holy nun without attributes . The latter dates from the beginning of the 19th century. The painting of Our Lady with an apple dates from around 1800. Two other paintings from the middle of the 18th century show Jesus on the Mount of Olives and Ecce Homo on curved wooden panels .
