Rectory in Mattsies

The rectory in Mattsies is a listed building in a district of the municipality of Tussenhausen in the Unterallgäu district in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia . It was built either in the second half of the 16th century or in the early 17th century. Renovations to the building took place in the 18th century and 1959, among others. The two-storey building is located southeast of the Church of the Assumption of Mary . The facade has an irregular window arrangement. The rectory is covered with a steep pitched roof . There is a bay window on the upper floor at the southeast corner . The polygonal bay window rests on a profiled console pierced by the corner of the house. In Erkerzimmer a mirror ceiling lined with profiles Voute present. In the rectory there are various wooden figures, such as an Immaculata from the third quarter of the 18th century, a Mother of God from the middle of the 18th century and the figure of God the Father from the beginning of the 18th century. The figure of Mary comes from the second half of the 17th century.
