The church tower is free-standing and connected to the choir on the north side by a narrow building. In this intermediate building there is a barrel vault . On the ground floor of the church tower there is a high room with tuff vaults . This room could previously have been the choir of the Romanesque predecessor church. The upper floor of the church tower is octagonal, above it there is a curved dome from around 1600.

Furnishing

inside view

The church furnishings come from the middle of the 18th century. The altars, as well as the pulpit and confessionals, presumably come from Dominikus Bergmüller , at least from the Bergmüller workshop in Türkheim . The altar sheet from the 19th century of the high altar shows a representation of the Assumption of Mary according to Guido Reni . The high altar is flanked by four columns. There is a heraldic cartouche above the altar sheet. It shows the coat of arms of the altar donor Johann Anton II von Freyberg , Bishop of Eichstätt .

The altar sheet on the left side altar is by Joseph Kober . It depicts the Visitation of the Virgin Mary . Above it is a painting of St. Stanislaus Kostka . St. Sebastian is shown in the extract above. The left side altar is flanked by the figures of St. Joseph and John the Baptist . In the case of the side altar, which is reminiscent of a tabernacle , there is a figure of St. Anna with Maria from the middle of the 18th century. In the right side altar the Annunciation is depicted in the altar sheet, also by Joseph Kober . In the picture above there is a representation of St. Aloysius. A figure of St. Wendelin can be found in the extract from the right side altar. On the right and left of the altar sheet are figures of St. Joachim and St. Anna. In the tabernacle-like housing you can see a Pietà from 1490/1500.

The upper gallery is decorated with paintings from the middle of the 17th century. On the upper gallery, representations of the Archangels and St. Joseph and John the Baptist. The lower gallery shows the Passion of Christ . The figure of St. Leonhard with a small kneeling prisoner. The crucifix dates from the second half of the 16th century.

The stucco was created around 1730. A cartouche with the alliance coat of arms is on the south side of the choir. The frescoes in the choir from around 1895 are attributed to Joseph Kober . The frescoes show the Last Supper and Mary's temple passage.
