Rectory (Mörgen)
The rectory in Mörgen , a district of the Eppishausen community in the Unterallgäu district in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia , was built in 1720. The rectory is a listed building. The building was renovated in 1960.
Pastor Joseph Günner had the rectory built in 1720 with his own funds. The master mason Johannes Merk from Mindelheim , the carpenter Georg Jäger, as well as the carpenter Anton Ruef from Haselbach and the painter Leonhard Priegel from Pfaffenhausen were involved in the construction of the rectory . The two-storey saddle roof building is located north of the St. Georg Church and consists of five to four axes . The wider central axis of the northern long side contains a rectangular door between small oval openings.
