Rectory in Petzenhausen

The rectory in Petzenhausen , a district of the community of Weil in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech , was built between 1842 and 1844. The former parsonage at Kirchweg 5, southwest of the Catholic parish church St. Petrus und Paulus , is a protected architectural monument .

description

The building was erected after the major fire in 1840 by master mason J. Wolf using the existing foundations. The two-storey, undivided gable roof building with arched windows has four to five axes . The six-part windows with green shutters close arched. The gable ends have former cargo hatches with drilled flaps and cross-shaped ventilation openings. The entrance is reached via a difference staircase on the eaves side facing away from the street.

The basement, from the previous building, is covered by a baroque lancet vault on massive supports.
