Rectory in Reichling

The rectory in Reichling , a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech , was built between 1731 and 1733. The rectory at St.-Nikolaus-Straße 12, north of the Catholic parish church St. Nikolaus , is a protected architectural monument .

description

The two-storey, baroque saddle roof building with a cranked verge cornice was built according to plans by the Wessobrunn master builder Joseph Schmuzer . The five to five window axes are arranged symmetrically and the cross-frame windows have green shutters. A saint niche with a tin roof and a loading hatch is attached to the street-side gable.

The generous Flez opens up the house in its entire width. A two-flight platform staircase leads to the upper floor, where a colored ceiling stucco from around 1760 has been preserved in the southern corner room. The doors from the 18th century have been preserved on the upper floor.

The mighty parish church was demolished in 1890.
