Rectory in Scheuring

The rectory in Scheuring , a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech , was built in 1907 instead of a previous building from 1554. The rectory at Kirchplatz 2, next to the Catholic parish church of St. Martin , is a protected monument .

description

The two-storey hipped roof building with five to four window axes stands on a plinth foundation. The painted corner blocks and a profiled eaves cornice structure the building. The richly designed portal made of artificial stone with a star-shaped double wooden door lies in the central axis of the street side. It is framed by pilasters and crowned by a profiled tail gable with a transverse, oval skylight. The six-part double windows are framed by a baroque ornament painting.

The red marble coat of arms on the outbuilding comes from the broken parish stadel . It is marked with the year 1649.

The enclosure, which is partly provided with buttresses , a walling of the parish garden on the west, north and south side, dates from the 17th / 18th. Century.

The economic building, also built in 1907, was demolished at the end of the 1960s.
