The church is a medium-sized Romanesque building. The late Gothic tower with romanised sound windows stands on the north side of the choir. On the south wall there are two cast iron epitaphs from 1826 and 1828 from the Obersteiner family of tradesmen, which were manufactured in the kk Eisengusswerk Maria Zell. The porch was added in the 19th century. The Romanesque step portal from the middle of the 12th century has a door with spiral fittings.

The wooden ceiling in the nave was renewed in 1946. The west gallery dates from the 19th century. In the rectangular choir, a baroque cloister vault from the 18th century rises between belts and laterally pushed, short transverse barrels . The choir ends in a drawn fifteenth note. A late Gothic portal leads into the ribbed sacristy on the tower ground floor.
