The church consists of a nave with double-stepped buttresses on the south side, a retracted choir with a five-eighth end and a polygonal closed extension on the north side, probably built in 1737. The northern side portal is closed in a segmental arch. The pointed arched, profiled, late Gothic west portal is protected by a pillar porch. A fresco of St. Christopher can be seen on the left of the portal . The fresco above the portal, painted around 1430, shows a representation of Mary with a child, Saints Catherine , Barbara , Peter and a bishop. The coronation of Mary to the right of the portal dates from the middle of the 15th century. Below is a fresco of the death of Mary painted around 1470 . The frescoes on the west wall were uncovered in 1942. The large fresco of St. Christopher from the end of the 14th century was transferred from the tower to the north side of the choir in 1950.

In the four-bay nave, a ribbed vault rests on consoles or on pillars with semicircular templates. The organ loft from 1950 in the entrance yoke stands on a round arch with beveled pillars. In the north wall an arcade opening leads into the side aisle extension with a baroque groin vault and belt arch over pilasters . In the west wall of the side extension there is a small, late Gothic pointed arch portal with an iron door, above the baroque tower staircase. A round, chamfered triumphal arch connects the nave with the choir of the same height. In the choir rises a baroque barrel vault with stitch caps on consoles.

The late Gothic paintings in the vaulted caps were uncovered in 1970 and show St. Peter, Our Lady, angels with instruments of passion and flower tendrils. The frescoes arranged in four strips on the north wall were created around 1370/1380 and were uncovered in 1928. The third and fourth rows consist of fragments from the legend of Dorothee . There are apostle crosses on the south wall .
